PIMEX 2011 promises to be the biggest ever, with already record interest in its exhibition

space and in-water berths virtually sold-out.

Top global brands, brokers and marine service providers will join local builders in Phuket to showcase boats from 20 feet to over 100 feet – day boats, luxury cruisers and yachts both power and sail – while three luxury international automobile brands, Jaguar, Lexus and Land Rover will be exhibiting ashore.

“PIMEX 2011 is really shaping up to set a new benchmark this year,” said Andy Dowden, Show Director, Informa Yacht Group, “The range and number of boats on display is greater than you’ll find anywhere else in Asia and when you combine this with all of the exhibitors in the Hall and the luxury automobile companies also taking part, PIMEX 2011 will truly be a lifestyle show like no other.”

Last year’s 2010 Phuket International Boat Show hosted more than 85 companies and featured 34 yachts in the water earning it the

title of biggest boat show in the region.

The 2011 show expects 6,000 visitors over four days including over 2,000 trade visitors.
